Video can be embed into Drupal pages in various ways, using our framework, the following are 2 easy ways to get started.
- Embed an existing YouTube video in to a web page, or
- Click the Insert/Edit FLV icon beside the Insert/Edit Image icon when editing a page in Drupal.
To embed a YouTube video:
- On the YouTube page you like, find the Embed code
- Copy that code and paste in to a page in Drupal, click Source before pasting to ensure the code is paste properly
- Adjust width/height in the embed code to suit your needs
- To autostart the video, add &autoplay=1 to the urls in the embed code, ex. http://www.youtube.com/v/-msld_7j7T0&hl=en_US&fs=1&autoplay=1
To import your own FLV, when editing/creating a page in Drupal:
- Click the Insert/Edit FLV icon
- Click Upload
- Browse to the FLV file on your computer
- Click Send to Server
- Click Advanced for Auto-Start and Loop options
- Click OK to embed.
